SHA Premium guides
SHA premium is the contribution a household is expected to pay into the Social Health Insurance Fund. For salaried households it's 2.75% of gross salary, deducted by the employer. For everyone else it's based on household income as estimated through means testing — with a minimum of KSh 300 a month.
Most premium questions come down to one thing: whether the information behind your assessment still matches your real situation. These guides explain how that works and what options may exist.
